Our first big news is that Big C Little Warrior is now registered as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). We were accepted onto the Charity Commission’s register on 25th September 2019 with our registration number being 1185501. The official objective of our charity is “TO PROMOTE HEALTH AND TO RELIEVE THOSE SUFFERING FROM OR AFFECTED BY CANCER, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, IN YORKSHIRE, BY THE PROVISION OF FREE BEAUTY TREATMENTS”

Registering a new charity isn’t easy but with our DBS checks, safeguarding policy and constitution documents all in good order the commission concluded that we were a worthy charity. You can view our registration here on the Charity Commission’s site. We still have some administrative tasks to complete but this is an important milestone on our way to helping those with cancer.
